🤍 For pregnant mothers ordering pregnancy meals: if you live in the Greater LA area, you’ll receive your meal bundle by courier. Out of state orders arrive Tuesdays-Fridays. Please specify any building/gate codes, etc. in the Notes section when placing an order. You can either customize a box or select from a preset meal bundle. Customized boxes can have up to 14 items. Preset meal bundles are discounted with our most popular items.🤍 For pregnant mothers ordering for postpartum meals ahead of time: pick a delivery date around 35 weeks in the event your beautiful baby debuts early. This way you have food in your freezer you can thaw and start drinking and snacking on during your early laboring at home. After birthing, your body prioritizes healing and lactation over metabolism and digestion, so doing this will make for easier digestion and elimination to reduce straining and an easier first bowel movement.🤍 Our foods are thicker and condensed, so simply add 2-3 Tablespoons of the included organic coconut milk powder to your Kitchari or New Mama Dahl or any porridge or pudding along with 1/4 cup extra hot water. You may also add bone broth to soups when warming up your meals. This will make them more filling! Add to your desired consistency. Some people like a more chunky porridge and some, especially if the first week of postpartum, want to thin it out.🤍 Adding in a tiny bit more grass-fed ghee or coconut oil also is delicious! The more liquid you add, the more sea salt or date/maple syrup you may want to sprinkle in as well (depending if the dish is savory or sweet).🤍 Make it fun with toppings! While many of our dishes come with their own seeds and dried, soaked berries or coconut flakes, you can always layer on fresh fruit or avocado or coconut cream. Remember to avoid dry and crunchy the first 42 days!🤍 Plan for grabbing 1-2 days worth of meals from the freezer and thawing overnight in the fridge.
